Download the application form and fill in the particulars.
Participate the First Aid Course.
Visit an optician,and make the Eyetest.
Go to the Gemeinedeverwaltung in your Commune. Carry with you: ID, Applicationform, 1 coloured Pic, First Aid Confirmation, Application Form for the Theory Test in Laufen
They keep the Documents and forward to the Motorfahrzeugkontrolle (Traffic Authority) in Füllinsdorf. After the validation of your Documents, you can register for the Theory Test. (more info`s scroll down) pls. inform the authority, that you want pass the Theory Test in Laufen. (they offer the Test in english )
If you`ve passed the Theory Test, you receive a provisional Drivers Licence.(valid for 2 Years)
Start Driving Classes.
Join the Verkehrskundeunterricht (VKU). Awarness Course.
Practical Test. The License will be valid for 3 Years.
Within the first Year absolvate 1 Day extra training. Called 2 Phasen Kurs: www.easy-drive.ch , Drive Swiss Wohlen

Go to the Motorfahrzeugkontrolle, Clarastrasse 38. 2nd floor. Carry with you: ID, Applicationform, 2 coloured pics,First Aid Confirmation, Application Form for the English Theory Test in Laufen
After the validation of your documents, you can register for theory test.(more info`s scroll down) pls. inform the authority, you want pass the theory test in Laufen. (english only)
If you`ve passed theory test, you receive a provisional drivers licence.(valid for 2 years)

Offered languages are: German, Italian, French.

If you don`t understand this Languages, you can appear at the Testcenter in Laufen. They offer the Test in English.

First: you have to apply at the Traffic Authority for the english theory. see pos. nr. 4, above

Second:register with this form online: Theorie Laufen Solothurn

Every Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon.
